For the very reasonable price, this is a great buy. My windshield is too far away to use the typical suction cup mount, and my dash is also too far away, but the air vent is in a perfect spot. I had a different brand of air-vent holder that folded open like a clam-shell but it blocked the vent and when it went from being very hot to being blasted with AC, the plastic cracked. This one sits away from the vent enough that it allows the air to flow better, and usually I can get the phone to go in/out with just one hand. Very impressed and happy with this. Hopefully it will last longer than my last one, but at least it didn't cost much if it does break.

 I think I have found my new favorite phone mount. It takes up very little space, its fancy the way it grips, and the phone surprisingly stays in place! im using a Pixel 2 XL with a slim case, but there still is a lot of room for a larger phone or something like a larger case. I do wish though that this is sold with mount options, because this is too good to be used on an AC vent. it is not wireless charging, and there is no clip for a cable, but maybe in the next one, theyre going to include one or build one into it.
